Musical Poster on Tour
As with the tradition of recent years we have again sent our poster on tour, so far this year it has been to visit an ancient
castle in Oxford, a Dutch windmill and got to sample some tasty Dutch cheese! This year it has also been to New York to see Brooklyn Bridge and the Empire State Building

The next photo was taken outside a local cheese shop in Heeze which supplies local cheese. If you want to
buy fresh cheese in this shop or the supermarket it usually comes in these round disks.
Smaller producers make smaller “rounds” of cheese. You can see the cheese stacked up inside the window.

This photo was taken in front of the Heeze Molen (Molen is Dutch for windmill)
Each local town has its own Molen, but they vary in size and type. It is not for draining water, purely for milling wheat.

This picture of the Hot Mikado poster was taken outside Oxford castle, Oxford shire, United Kingdom.
It is over 1000 years old and has many tales of executions, great escapes, betrayal and even romance over centuries.
These events that took place also connect to the plot and storyline of our musical
