"In
September of this year we went to an outdoor education centre for three days: from Sun
Sep. 25th to Tues. Sep. 28th. We as a T.Y class got the opportunity to experience
our first trip away with each other as a whole and got the chance to work together as a
team. By going on this trip it has given many people confidence, self steam and improved
many of there skill and shown many qualities they never knew they had. It was a very worth
while trip and all who went really enjoyed it with no exceptions. During our stay there we
got involved in many activities which made us work as a group and use our team work
skills. This trip has brought our year closer together and broken down the different
boundaries between peer groups.
"When we arrived and got off the bus the supervisors were very helpful. They brought us the gym where they told us the rules and what we should and shouldn’t do. We had to choose our groups and then go to the rooms. The group that I was in got on a mini bus and went down the road. We were going to do kayaking. We built a raft that we had to race against another group who also built a raft. "
